With more than 600 species, eucalyptus offers a variety of scents. Globulus, radiata, and citriodora are common ones. Eucalyptus Globulus essential oil is known for its benefits to our respiratory system.

  • Eucalyptus essential oil is effective against a range of bacterial respiratory pathogens.

  • It is effective against coughs and colds.

  • Studies show that eucalyptus is antiseptic on wounds, insect bites, and lice​.

  • It also enhances skin repair and reduces itching and inflammation.

  • The scent increases energy, countering emotional imbalance. It can reverse headache and stress.

  • Safety: If oxidized, it may cause irritation or sensitization. Careful with children under ten years of age. Do not get near eyes or mouth area.

Here are just some of the many ways you can use your Eucalyptus Globulus essential oil:

  • If you feel a cold coming on, try this for a few days: Boil a bowl of water. Add Eucalyptus oil to the hot water and breathe in the steam.

  • Put a few drops in your home diffuser, car diffuser, essential oil necklace, or bracelet: Eucalyptus Globulus oil is a good oil to reduce mental fatigue. It is also effective for relieving headaches associated with sinus congestion​​.

  • You can add it to a lotion, oil, diffuser, shampoo, liquid soap, tissue, foot soak, or bath.
